Mage Duels

((This thread will be a tournament for wizardly characters wishing to duel each other. Please sign up for the tourney by Friday 10/17/03. The tournament will be on Saturday and Sunday 10/18-19/03. Please introduce your character in one or more boards before the tournament. Rules for this and future tournaments are as follows:

  • Participants may not use supernatural abilities that are not given by a spell.
  • Participants may not use outside forces. This includes the use of distractions and the like. Note, however, that you may still distract your opponent, only others can't.
  • Participants in the free-for-all elimination round may cooperate with other participants, but may not then attack that participant until all other participants are defeated or that participant is defeated.
  • The judge may not participate.

In the event of a rule being broken, the participant may be warned (in-tournament only, don't worry), may receive a loss for the match, or may be disqualified, at the judge's (i.e. my) discretion.

The winner of the tournament will be rewarded with a bonus of 20 posts. The runner-up will receive a bonus of 10 posts.

Okay, seeing that nobody signed up, I'm cancelling the tournament. The next tournment will be November 1, which is two weeks from now. Your loss of twenty free posts, not mine.

Okay, then. Seeing that nobody signed up for that tournament either, let's try for whenever the hell you people want to get up off your lazy butts and accomplish something! Sometime in June maybe? :-)
